New Moon DVD Release Date Set!!!

It has been announced that The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD will be released at 12:01 am on March, 20, 2010!!!!

WOO HOO!!! Can't wait! Wish my sis lived here so we could go together and get our copies! Would be a helluva good time! Maybe I'll just talk someone into watching the kids and me and the hubs can go!

The DVD will be chocked full of extras that I can't wait to see!

This from USA Today:

"Both film sets come with bonus features, including commentary with director Chris Weitz and editor Peter Lambert; a six-part behind-the-scenes documentary; exclusive band rehearsal footage with Muse; and music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina and Mute Math."

The DVD will retail for $32.99 and the Blu-Ray for $34.99. Both will be available for pre-order on January 26!

Eclipse going to be in IMAX

"Summit Entertainment has announced The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be released in both conventional theaters and in IMAX on June 30, 2010. While the film was shot with regular cameras, IMAX is going to digitally re-master the movie with their proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology so it can be shown in IMAX theaters."

SO, are you going to see Eclipse in IMAX? I would love to be able to see me some yummy Robward in all his sexiness in IMAX! (I sadly cannot, since there is not an IMAX theater anywhere near me.)

I am joining the many, many fans over at Thinking Of Rob in this campaign against the paps and their invasive ways of getting pics of Rob. It is bullshit that they pin him up against a wall to get a shot of him. Those paps are fucking leeches that need to be stopped, not only for Rob, but all celebs out there. These people just don't know when to stop.

Thinking Of Rob said it best when they said this:

Due to recent paps pics of Rob that came out today and invasive ones taken before (chasing Rob while he’s driving, taking pictures of him from rooftops), the fans are standing up and fighting back. We want the paps to know that we don’t want to see pics like these, so stop taking them. Stop invading his private life. Enough is enough. Because no person deserves this, celebrity or not. There are limits and you have gone too far. We know pap pics are inevitable, what we are protesting against are the particularly invasive ones mentioned above. He doesn’t want this, neither do we!

A Squeee and a note from me

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

There are 3 days, 10 hours, 55 minutes, 30 seconds until NEW MOON (that was what it was as I started this post)!!!! I cannot believe that it is almost here!!!

I am disappointed that I did not win a single contest I entered to go see the premiere in LA. *pouts* So I guess I have to settle for my pre-planned trip to the theatre on Saturday afternoon.

I am not going to be able to go to the midnight showing of New Moon on November 20th because I have to be a responsible parent and not keep my kids out until 2 am to just see a movie I'm DYING to see! So we are going to catch a matinee on Saturday afternoon. We have our whole crew and my mother-in-law and nephew going with us. It is bound to be a good time! (I just hope I can keep my squeees to a minimum)

That being said, there will be less blog posts coming from me for about the next 3 weeks. I have about 20 projects that have to be done by the first week in December (damn instructors pile the shit on at the end of the semester) and I will be spending an un-godly amount of time on those, which of course, cuts into my--blog/twitter/Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse/Breaking Dawn/RPattz/KLutz/OCD/etc./etc./you get the damn point now--time.

I am very disappointed in my instructors and their obvious lack of care for my obsession. Their utter lack of regard for timing their projects to be due when New Moon is hitting theaters. I have considered telling them I cannot do the projects because I have come down with a severe case of I-don't-wanna-do-this-pointless-shit-because-a-movie-is-more-fucking-important-itis just so I can devote this ENTIRE week to blogging, watching, and squeeing over the new movie! But, I don't think they would go for that. They don't get it.

I will post a blog from time to time. Just not like I have been. Real life is screaming at me like a little bitch and I must attend to it.

Do You Fanfic?

Up until about a week ago I was a FanFic virgin. (did I just hear gasps?) I know, I know. I'm a little behind.

I just didn't get what all the hype was over fanfic. I was reluctant to even give it a shot. But after seeing a few fellow twi-bloggers talking about the same fanfic, I said "what the hell, I'll give it a shot."

Now, I have not read that much and some of these I haven't even been able to get started on. Real life is getting in the way. But after the first week of December, I have over a month off from college and WILL get the fanfic I have bookmarked read!

I thought that I would share some of the fanfic that I have bookmarked for those of you that are like I was, fanfic virgins.

First off is Brotherly Devotion . This is one that I have read 2 chapters of and let me tell you...FUCKING HAWT!!! I can't wait to read more!!!

Next up is Always & Never . I have not read any of this yet, but I know of a few twi-bloggers that talk about it a LOT! I'm ready to dive head first into this one!

Next is 15 Step . Also one I have not started but very much looking forward to starting! This is from Jenny Jerkface over at Twitarded.

This one is one that I have read. I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter! It continues where Breaking Dawn left off and is very good! Twilight Continues is 10 chapters long + a preface and is a delightful read that brings more characters into the story line!

Well, I have others bookmarked, but have not even skimmed them yet. Be prepared for more as I find them!

Oh, and if you have a good Twi-fanfic story that you would like to recommend, just leave a link in the comment section and I'll make sure to save it for my vacation time!

Going to see New Moon come hell or high water!

My ex-mother-in-law called today to ask if she could take the kids on the 21st because their uncle and cousins will be in town and they are doing an early Thanksgiving. No biggie, right? WRONG!

THAT is the day we have our tickets to go see New Moon.

Why is that a big deal? Well, my daughter is a HUGE (not quite as bad as me) fan of the Saga and has been looking forward to seeing this for almost as long as I have (if you can believe that!). I'm not going to deprive my daughter of something she has been looking forward to for months. Not going to happen. Especially since she's known about this for a while now and just now go around to informing me about it. Not going to happen. She's not going to ruin the mother-daughter bonding me and my daughter will be having that day. Nope. Not going to happen.

We will be seeing New Moon on Saturday, November 21st come hell or high water!!!!
